The arrival of increasingly capable large language models — epitomized by OpenAI’s latest releases such as GPT-4o — is accelerating AI integration across enterprise workflows. That acceleration brings clear productivity gains for knowledge work, customer service, and software development, but it also magnifies longstanding ethical tensions around privacy, surveillance, bias, and accountability. Tech leaders now face the twin challenge of extracting value from LLMs while managing legal, reputational, and human costs.
